Viking was commissioned by ACGM SARL to rehabilitate the liner system for three lagoons at the VOH WWTP.
The waveband application utilised 1.5mm HDPE geomembrane liner and a Texshield geotextile protection layer, secured in a compacted earthen anchor trench at the top and the base of the embankment. For the concrete inlet and outlet structures, a stainless steel mechanical anchor was used to seal the liner. Viking vents and pipe penetration seals were also utilised.
Lagoon 3 remained in service whilst Lagoons 1 & 2 were under construction. Following the commissioning of Lagoons 1 & 2, Viking returned to the site to complete the liner system for Lagoon 3.
